This is one of our favourite downtown liquor stores: there’s nothing better than walking into their giant beer fridge on a hot summer day. And if you don’t want to leave your house, they deliver! Open 9am-11pm, 7 days a week

Definitely one of the classiest places to buy alcohol downtown. They’re mostly beer and wine but have a modest selection of real alcohol like Vodka and Gin at the register. Next to Swan’s restaurant and pub.

This local trendy pub hosts a great line-up of live music, and they have a cosy little liquor store too.

Just a block away from Ocean Island, at the Rialto Hotel, this places serves everything to do with alcohol, at good prices, and the staff don’t hate you like they do in Government liquor stores. Open ’til 11pm

This place used to be a nice cozy little store but they’ve expanded and it’s huge now! It’s located right near the theatres. This store carries cold beer, wine and hard alcohol and the prices are slightly higher than liquor store prices. Located at the Dalton Hotel. Open 9am-11pm, 7 days a week
