Walk-in clinics are the best place to go if you need a doctor for a non-emergency medical condition. If you don't have a BC Carecard, they will charge you approx $60.00 for your visit.
Yates & Quadra Integrated Health Centre
This is the nearest walk-in clinic to Ocean Island. They'll have you in and out in no time, so make sure you remember what they tell you! They're open Monday- Friday 8:30am- 8pm, Saturday 9am-3pm, Sunday 10am-4pm.

Island Sexual Health Society
Free condoms, sexual health educators, STD testing and treatment, counselling, birth control, PAP smears and more! You need to make an appointment, and they are only open Mondays from 1-4pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays from 2-8pm and Fridays from 1-3pm. Fridays are for Pill pick-ups only though. It's a great walk on a nice day, or a nice bus ride for a rainy one.
James Bay Community Project Health Clinic
A walk-in medical centre that runs a free clinic on Thursday's. Double check with them before you go, though.

Royal Jubilee Hospital
If for some reason you have to go to emergency after hours but aren't going in an ambulance, this is the nearest hospital. You can catch the Number 14 bus on Fort Street, get off at Fort and Shelbourne, the hospital is clearly signposted..

Tillicum Mall Medical Clinic
Tillicum Mall Medical Clinic is open 7 days a week, 9am-9pm, so if you wanted to go to a doctor after hours or on the weekend this is your best bet. Catch the #11 bus on Douglas St, get off at Tillicum Mall, the clinic is on the lower floor of the mall, next to London Drugs.

Victoria Health Unit
A free, confidential, non-judgemental and friendly clinic that provides testing and treatment for STDs. All tests, including blood are done on-site and they don't require ID or a medical plan. Birth control, pregnancy tests, and hepatitis vaccinations as well. Worried about going home with more than just souvenirs and memories? Check it out.

Victoria Youth Clinic
Also located at the James Bay Community Clinic is the Youth Clinic. Offers counselling, help with getting a Care Card and a variety of free services to young people. There's also one right downtown that's focused on street-involved youth. Michigan Street clinic open Monday 9am-4pm, Tuesday 10:15am-4pm, Wednesday to Friday 9am-4pm. Downtown clinic open Monday and Wednesday 4pm-7pm.
