How our listings work

We don't set up promotional deals with companies to have their information on the guide, we research and pick the places that will be most useful to our guests, and that's what makes the Ocean Island Victoria & BC Guide ten times more useful than any of the tourist info sites about Victoria. Because we're in the accommodations business, and we just want to attract people to this fantastic city!

When we first set up the Victoria & BC Guide, we linked as many of the listings up with hyperlinks as possible, without asking for links from those sites back to ours. But we greatly appreciate incoming links, and will consider adding a listing to the site, if the business jives with our standards.
